This is how it is!

I serve a mighty God. I live the with love of my life. I love my family. I need my friends. This is my life. This is how it is!

I love my future mother-in-law.

This past friday night Daniel and I met his parents to play wedding catch-up. At first I was nervous because the whole time we have been planning our wedding Daniel’s mom and I have been butting heads. She wasn’t thrilled about a football themed wedding, she didn’t care too much for the venue, she hated the idea of people coming in blue jeans and jerseys, and when we mentioned pizza and beer for our rehearsal dinner it was game over. Now she is coming around. Friday night she was actually excited. She is now loving all of our ideas. We told her that we (Daniel and I) might have to take a small loan out to finish paying for things. My dress, the cake, daniel’s suit, just little things. She told us not to worry she had put money aside for this. His mom said if we need money up front she will write a check if we need to order something off line just send her the link. I was like uhm, ok. It was comforting to know that we didn’t have to stress anymore. Then I started thinking we have been in engaged for about 5 months. She has set aside enough money to have money up front? So I asked her, did you know that we were going to get married before we did? She smiled. She brought the very first time I ever met her up. It was our senior year my friend (who used to be daniel’s best friend) invited me to his soccer game. Daniel was the goalie. It just happen to be senior night so all the seniors’ parents were there. Ray gave me his all home sports pass. (Its a pass that you buy at the very beginning of the school year and you can get in to any home game for free.) Ray told me to give the pass back to his parents at the game because I had to leave before the players could come off the field. So I awkardly searched for Ray’s parents. Ray’s parents were sitting with Daniel’s parents. I handed ray’s pass to his dad and told him to tell Ray thanks for the lending me the pass. He made a joke of me not paying to get in. Then Daniel’s mom introduced herself. hehe. I told her I knew Daniel we had a few classes together. She smiled and said oh ok. The next part should have been a foreshadow into my life. Daniel’s dad likes to make jokes but sometimes his jokes don’t come off as joke more like an insult. He said to me oh so you were here just to see Ray play? I told him that ray was the one who invited me but I watched everyone. Then she told Daniel’s dad that I was cute and she wanted me. When Daniel came off the field she told him I was cute that he should ask me out. Daniel is way too shy to even carrying on a conversation with me much less ask me out. A couple months later I ended back at his house with our friend Jason us 3 were going to our friend’s Joey house (I used to date joey) to meet him ray and kevin. Just do silly senior activities. When Jason and I got there we had to wait for Daniel because his two sisters were over and his nephew and little brother were crawling around, he was helping with the catching of the crawlers. I chatted it up with his sisters and mom. I later learned that while Jason and I was exiting they were bomboarding him with questions and statements about me. Please remember Daniel is shy, like weird shy. If yall watch the big bang theory he is very close to Raj, he can talk in front of girls but he its normally jokes. 3 years later when I walked in his parents house as his girlfriend in January 2009 I’m pretty sure his mom started making a “Oh, My goodness my son is getting married to the girl of my dreams” funds. hehe.
